Earlier Siemens assistant for SCL generation, code explanation, WinCC Unified drafts, and natural-language manual search.
Who it's for
Controls engineers already working in Siemens projects (TIA Portal). This is an assistant inside that environment, not a second opinion you can paste into another brand's IDE.
Caveat / limitations
Announced at Hannover Messe 2024 and offered from the Siemens Xcelerator marketplace starting summer 2024. Siemens said it uses Azure OpenAI and can run against a customer's private instance that is not used to retrain models. Eigen Engineering Agent is the newer, more autonomous product. Treat Copilot and Eigen as two generations, not two names for one SKU.
