Litmus MCP Server
Open-source MCP plugin over Litmus Edge: devices, tags, telemetry, containers, and a large SDK fallback.
Who it's for
Operations or data teams who already keep plant context in Litmus. Most of these products do not speak a field bus themselves.
Caveat / limitations
Apache-2.0 plugin for Claude Code and Codex. Litmus says it exposes Edge devices, telemetry, history, containers, and data models. The repo README describes 62 curated tools plus an SDK fallback of hundreds of functions, with writes behind a per-call approval gate. The plugin is open source; Litmus Edge is the commercial product it attaches to. Protocol drivers live in Edge, not in this server, so it is not tagged as Modbus or OPC UA.
Protocols
No field protocol or IEC language is claimed. If this tool reaches a PLC, it does so through something else already named in the notes.
